Ahhh, summer has finally come to the pacific northwest. We are enjoying some heat and well earned escape from clouds and rain. Maybe you have a job that allows you to enjoy this is some fashion whether it be basking in the sun’s rays or just taking in a view from your office. But for those of us in maintenance it is different. We dwell  in the basements of you buildings. In the dark, loud places from which your wonderful air conditioning and heating comes. In our favor it delivers us a very stable environment but it also denies us an outside glimpse at the world. I can work the entire day without seeing sunlight. It seems to stay the same, never changing or varying in any degree. Like the deep void, the darkness of space….
